Diana Jordan is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in the state of Maryland. She specializes in helping clients who are experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues. Diana is a Certified Animal Assisted Intervention Specialist (C-AAIS) and will be offering in person, animal-assisted therapy with her certified black lab Otto starting in 2025. Diana holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics from Cornell University.

Diana provides clients with a nonjudgmental space to express and explore their experiences. She believes that resilience comes from strengthening one’s self-understanding. Diana takes a collaborative approach with clients as they work towards their goals. She aims to empower her clients through increased self-efficacy and uses an integrative approach that is grounded in Adlerian theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through animal-assisted therapy, Diana and Otto help clients process trauma and improve their coping and management of anxiety and depression.
